THE MESOPOTAMIAN is a romantic noir set in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) world of New York City, seen through the eyes of two 911 *EMTs: Ela, a mysterious and lonely Middle Eastern woman and her seasoned yet stubborn Brooklyn-native work partner by the name of Marco. While they explore together an unseen side of the city that is both intimate and lonely, their friendship grows and their self-inflicted wounds begin to disappear.
